Roly-poly dolls can be equally cute and creepy. It all depends very much on their facial expression. Designed with small children in mind, it helps them develop coordination while they are refining their fine motor skills as the hollow toy with a weight in it rocks back and forth.
I printed out a picture of a Roll-poly doll to draw and decided not to as they do seem a bit weird to me, but on Saturday I was in a shop in Cronulla with a friend and they had a large replica of a vintage Roly-poly doll and it seemed like a sign that I had to draw this LOL ♥
