This has to be one of my all-time favourite albums. I discovered it late in my high school career and listened to it all the way through uni. Bill Withers was an American songwriter and musician who only recorded for 15 years from 1970. Despite his limited recording career he created an amazing array of hits like Lean on Me, Ain’t No Sunshine, Lovely Day, Grandma’s Hands and the ultimate classic Just the Two of Us. This album lifts my mood and I adore the incredibly 80’s album cover ♥ Each song reminds me of a wonderful time in my youth.
