The Banksia is an Australian wildflower often found in Aussie gardens and all throughout the Australian bush. There are 170 species of the plant family Proteaceae and have characteristic flower spikes and fruiting cones. I love how hardy, strong and beautiful these native Australian plants are. They are architectural, structured and ingenious.
