Named after the French botanist Pierre Magnol, the magnolia has been around for more than 95 million years. They precede the evolution of bees and it is believed they were pollinated by other insects such as beetles. Perhaps this is why their central proboscis is so tough, woody and durable. A stunning and timeless flower that brings beauty and class to any garden, vase or wall.
