I have no idea when Frida wore this elegant coat. I imagine when she visited Paris and New York she would have had an occasion or two where she would have dressed up. If I was going to wear such a rich and colourful coat I would likely pair it with something simple but not our Frida. She wore it with different layers of colour and pattern. It’s that over the top layering of colour in Frida’s wardrobe, artwork and life that makes her so unique and interesting ♥
