The Rolling Stones are such an iconic band in so many ways. Their impact on artwork, music, film clips, dance moves and ageing has been epic. This album cover is not that well known… it’s from the Spanish release of the 7″ EP Called The Rolling Stones that was released in 1965. It contained the tracks Satisfaction, Off The Hook, Little Red Rooster and The Under Assistant West Coast Promotion Man (weird title). The graphic quality of these multicoloured monotone portraits is gorgeous… I’m wondering what else I can apply this technique to… simple and gorgeous ♥ The artwork is attributed to someone called Botia but I can’t find out anything about them.
