There are few things sweeter than homemade Caramel Slice. Fifteen years ago I did a creative writing course and a fellow student generously shared her great-aunt’s recipe with me. I have made a few alterations over the years – as I always do – but it is by far the best Caramel Slice I’ve ever had.
